CB522-LT is an evolution of the CB500 series and is intended for motorhome owners looking for a high-performance system expressly dedicated to this innovative type of battery. It has a single charging line, specific for lithium batteries, with charging values and times optimized for this technology. To obtain an algorithm that would keep the recharge performance unchanged with the various types of lithium batteries on the market,

CB522-LT is protected against overtemperature and the 12V outputs are protected against short circuit and reverse polarity.

The automatic refilling system takes place in 4 stages

• Phase 1: Bulk – Charge the battery with maximum current until the end-of-charge voltage is reached.
• Phase 2: Absorption – Completion of the battery charge with constant end-of-charge voltage for a maximum time of 1h (or 30 minutes with I<5A).
• Phase 3: Float – Maintenance charge at a constant voltage of 13.5V for a maximum time of 240 hours. If the insertion of a high load lowers the battery voltage below 12.7V, the cycle restarts from the Bulk phase.
• Phase 4: Refresh – The battery is charged at a voltage of 14.5V for a maximum time of 30 minutes (or up to I<5A). Subsequently the charge restarts from the Float phase.
