The Trigano brand was created in 1935 by the textile trader Edgard Trigano and his family who started marketing fabrics. In 1936, the first paid holidays appeared in France, and Trigano leisure products began with the sale of curtain fabrics to the first vacationers, including the "Canadian", a blue or orange square tent sold in several million units. .
After the war, Gérard Blitz, the founder of the Club Méditerranée, contacted the Trigano to procure equipment, pledging to rent the necessary equipment for the opening of the first city of tents in the Balearic Islands and allowing the initial development at the Trigano.
In 1971, Trigano began marketing caravans and spread a national slogan on the airwaves that marked the time: "Camping is Trigano!".
Under the leadership of François Feuillet, who joined TRIGANO in 1981, the integration of the production of motorhomes (1984), trailers and garden equipment (1992) took place.
The company has grown with almost annual acquisitions in the motorhome sector mainly AUTOSTAR in France in 1998, Caravans International and ARCA in Italy in 1999 and 2001, AUTO-TRAIL in England in 1999, BENIMAR in Spain in 2002, Périgord VDL in France in 2004, Eura Mobil and Karmann Mobil in Germany in 2005, NOTIN in France in 2012, RIMOR in Italy in 2015, AUTO-SLEEPERS in the UK and ADRIA in Slovenia in 2017.
