It is an electronic device with built-in microprocessor that can intelligently manage two 12 V service batteries, lead, gel, AGM and lithium, both in charging (with alternator, battery charger and PV modules) and in discharging.
TWO 12 V BATTERIES CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE DEVICE, WHICH MUST BE OF THE SAME TECHNOLOGY, BUT CAN BE OF DIFFERENT CAPACITIES AND AGES
There are many advantages to using the BDS-200:
- management of the charging and discharging of the batteries separately and alternately
- control of the functionality of each individual battery and, in case of a failed battery, isolation of the battery with a light signal (yellow LED on the BDS-200)
- "battery saver" function, which disconnects the batteries when a safety voltage is reached to prevent irreversible damage to them
- possibility of electrically disconnecting both service batteries (in case of prolonged periods of inactivity) using the switch located on the device or via a remote switch
- management of high currents (charging and discharging) up to a maximum of 100A with 120A spikes for each battery
- possibility of connecting consumers with consumption up to a maximum of 200A
- possibility of connecting a control panel (MC-200) for selection of equipment operation mode (automatic/manual)
- possibility of connection to mobile devices via the APP "ONDA AMART SYSTEM"

The "ONDA SMART SYSTEM BDS-200" APP for mobile devices has been specially developed to manage and expand the functions of the BDS-200.
The connection between the BDS-200 and mobile devices is via BlueTooth and has a range limited to the surroundings of the vehicle.
The "ONDA SMART SYSTEM" APP allows you to:
- select the operating mode of the BDS200 (automatic/manual)
- display the voltage of the two batteries graphically and in volts
- display the charge and discharge current in real time
- display the remaining autonomy of the battery in use
- display the number of charge and discharge cycles of the two batteries
- display the indication of the intervention of the "battery saver" function
- display the state of charge of the batteries (SoC)
- display the health status of the batteries (SoH)
- receive information about any abnormalities in the batteries
- view the BDS200 manual
- update the firmware of the BDS200
