A solar charge controller extracts energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes this energy harvest and intelligently controls it to achieve a full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains the health of your battery and extends its lifespan.
The SmartSolar charge controller is capable of charging even a deeply discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, as long as the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
MPPT: Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output from solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available energy is drawn from the panels and extracted for storage.
Remote monitoring and control
Control and monitor the full functionality of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth remotely by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet, you can access the full power of your MPPT anytime, anywhere via the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM); both services are free of charge. For remote installations, even when there is no internet connection or cell phone signal nearby, the MPPT can be monitored via Bluetooth pairing with an optional LoRaWAN (long-range wide area network) device.
