Functions:
ENGINE BATTERY ALARM (B1)
When the motor battery reaches a voltage below 12V, the low motor battery alarm is automatically activated with the symbol ref.17. The alarm is deactivated with voltage above 12.5V.
MOTOR BATTERY CHARGING (B1)
An electronic device allows when necessary, a recharge (rated current 6A) of the motor battery (B1) in the following cases:
- with 230V grid on and CBE battery charger turned on.
- with a charging source (photovoltaic module, generator, ...) when B2 voltage is >13.6V, only when the control panel is turned on (if set battery type to "START - GEL - AGM").
- with CBE "CL-BUS" solar controller when B2 voltage is >13.6V, only when control panel is on (if set battery type to "LI").
SERVICES BATTERY ALARM (B2)
When the service battery reaches the voltage of 11.5V, the service battery backup alarm is automatically activated, signaled visually with the symbol ref.18 , acoustically with a short sound.
When the service battery reaches the voltage of 10.5V, the low service battery alarm is automatically activated, signaled visually with the symbol ref.18 , acoustically with two short sounds.
Alarms turn off with voltage higher than 12.5V.
SERVICE BATTERY CHARGING (B2)
- with alternator: via the separator relay or external devices (e.g., dc/dc converter) when the engine is running .
- with 230V mains: buffer system through the battery charger.
- with photovoltaic module: via solar controller.
NB: The battery parallel function built into the system may be inactive in some installations.
MINIMUM VOLTAGE CONTROL (BATTERY SAVER)
An electronic protection device disconnects 12V consumers when the service battery is discharged.
Triggers at the preset threshold and disables: pump, light group, RH output, AUX output, outdoor light and 12V sockets.
The alarm is signaled visually with the symbol ref.21.
It is possible to reset all utilities for one minute by pressing the ON/OFF button (ref.1 coman do panel).
With a voltage below 9.5V, the control panel will automatically turn off.
Automatically the utilities are reset when the voltage is greater than 13.5 V.
Utilities powered directly from the B2 service battery are excluded from this device.
D+ FUNCTIONS
An electronic device handles D+ functions with motor running (parallel relay, simulated D+ output, ext. light, etc.).
D+ functions are activated when one of the following conditions is present:
condition A: With positive D+ signal.
condition B: With signal + Key and negative signal D+.
D+ functions can be activated only if the B2 service battery is connected.
