CBE CB516-3 - Switching Battery Charger - 12V-16A - 321517. Replacement of the old model CB 516.

Six-cycle charging system for 12V batteries.

• Rated voltage: 230 Vac +/- 10%
• Frequency: 50Hz
• Maximum power: 250W
• Protection fuse: 2 A (glass 5 x 20)

• Desulphation: when the battery charger is switched on, only if the battery needs it, it is charged at a voltage of 15.2V until the current exceeds 2A or in any case for a maximum of 2 hours.
• Bulk : charge of the battery with the maximum current until the end of charge voltage is reached.
• NB: The end of charge is reached only if the battery is efficient.
• Absorption : completion of the battery charge with constant end-of-charge voltage for the time defined by the charge line with progressive reduction of the current.
• Float : maintenance charge at constant voltage for a maximum time of 15 hours. A high absorption from the battery involves restarting from the Bulk phase.
• Stand-by : the battery charger no longer supplies energy and switches to the Refresh phase only when the battery voltage drops below 13V.
• Refresh : The battery is charged at the Bulk charge voltage for a maximum time of 1h; this phase is designed to compensate for battery self-discharge during any prolonged periods of inactivity.

Subsequently the charge restarts from the Float phase. The high frequency switching technology allows to obtain high yields with reduced weights and dimensions.
