THE FILTER CAN BE REMOVED AND CLEANED WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND THEN REUSED
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Double cup filter for LPG systems. The filter is equipped with a retouch valve and a built-in bleed valve that allow the oil/gas liquids to be safely drained during gas consumption in the installation process.
2) To drain the gas/oil residues from the filter. Unscrew the bleed valve nut - turn it 5 times until the bleed opening is visible. After 2 turns the internal check valve closes and seals the high pressure in the upper sump and the gas system - if after 5 turns the opening is visible, the high pressure volume of the lower sump is bled. Use a cloth to absorb the liquid oil that escapes.
3) Unscrew the lower cup with the key.
4)Empty and clean the lower sump from any oil residues. Dispose of any oil residues in accordance with current regulations. Warning, the contents have a characteristic gas odor. Do not approach with naked flames, cigarettes, etc. as gas residues are highly flammable.
5) After cleaning, reassemble in reverse order and add the lower cup to the filter unit, tighten with a wrench to ensure a perfect gas seal.
6) Tighten the bleed valve with the wrench to seal the lower compartment. After 3 turns, the internal non-return valve opens to the upper sump and the new oil can be drained into the lower sump. IGT recommends emptying the lower sump 1-2 times a year under normal use. If the gas quality is poor, it may be necessary to drain more often. The upper filter unit can only be unscrewed after the gas system has been emptied. After unscrewing the upper sump with a wrench, the filter can be removed and cleaned with compressed air and reused. It is recommended to have the cleaning carried out by a professional workshop
