The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC 12/12 30A Insulated Battery Charger is designed to ensure safe and efficient power supply of the service battery from the starter battery, while protecting both circuits. Ideal for integrated systems in motorhomes, equipped vans and boats, this smart charger automatically recognises if the engine is running, so you can adjust the charge safely.
It supports both lead-acid (AGM, Gel) and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, thus adapting to all modern installations.
Built-in adaptive charging and galvanic isolation
This DC-DC charger offers three-step charging (bulk, absorption, float), ensuring optimal performance and longer secondary battery life.
Its galvanic isolation protects electrical circuits from current returns and potential differences, a key benefit for the safety of on-board systems.
The system also detects if the alternator is active, preventing unintentional discharges and ensuring that the service battery is only charged when the engine is running.
Total control via Bluetooth and remote switch
Orion-Tr Smart has Bluetooth connectivity, allowing it to be monitored and configured from the VictronConnect app on your smartphone or tablet.
Real-time access to voltage, current, state of charge parameters and customize the battery profile (lead, lithium).
A remote on/off switch is also provided to integrate the charger into centralized electrical management.
