Clean Evolution was born from the need to have a device capable of facilitating the emptying of the toilet cassette supplied in campers and caravans, directly from inside the vehicle, rather than having to empty it manually.
Clean Evolution has been specifically designed for use with all cassette toilets in circulation, both Thetford and Dometic. The device has been created using a macerator pump that can be installed directly on the cassette in place of the original manual discharge nozzle. The cassette toilet is not modified.
The engine is very small in size with powerful magnets and construction technologies that allow high power with low absorption. The entire device is made with components entirely Made in Italy. The kit was designed to create different types of installation, even DIY.
The kit consists of:
TECHNICAL FEATURES
ASSEMBLY OF COMPONENTS (PUMP-DISH)
Remove the drain nozzle installed on your cistern, turn it approximately 210 degrees until you find the extraction point; once the original nozzle has been removed, insert and position the suction system and macerator pump. Rotate the pump alone, to adapt the orientation of its drain to your space requirements.
Place the adhesive sponge button under the motor and fix it in the box, to ensure that there is no vibration. If there is limited space between the box and the door, it is advisable to place the 25 mm exhaust pipe supplied as close as possible to the wall, turning the pump outlet (inlet) inwards.
Remove the handle located on the cassette by unscrewing the two screws located under the cover. The suction pipe inside the cassette is made specifically for each Thetford C3/C200/C250/C400/500 and Dometic model with various inclinations and lengths.
MACERATOR ACTION AND DISGREGATION TIMES
Use specific camper paper, alternatively high quality domestic paper.
It is advisable, although not essential, to use a disintegrating agent to speed up the maceration of the waste present in the box and to avoid bad smells. The discharge times are dictated by a time not immediate from the last defecation.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The macerator pump is made up of two parts, the grinder and the nautical-type impeller pump. The grinder is placed in front of the pump. It is intended for organic waste only, therefore do not throw objects such as: vaginal tampons, panty liners, cotton buds, coated paper or paper not suitable for disintegration, etc. into the bin.
It is therefore recommended that you train your crew accordingly. If small plastic objects are thrown into the toilet, the pump may block.
If the pump blocks for the reasons described above, proceed as follows. get a nylon bag (it can be useful if the suction tube is very dirty) and remove the entire nozzle from the box, put the suction tube only in a bag, proceed by unscrewing it and separating the pump from the elbow, once you have the pump alone in your hand, check if there is any inlet orifice
there is some object that blocks the shredder impeller, the object can be removed with simple tweezers, if instead the problem is deeper, in the impeller chamber, it will be necessary to unscrew the four screws of the cap. Be careful when doing this operation, because the internal brass part, once removed for cleaning, must be put back exactly as it was originally positioned.
If this rule is not respected, the macerator pump will no longer be able to suck as before.
