GSM modem "QStart" Remote control for Planar 2D, 4D & 44D & Binar 5S, 12V and 24V parking heaters

With this GSM modem the PLANAR heaters can be controlled via SMS or App (android or IOS).

The App offers the following control options:

• remote start / stop of the heater
• Setting the runtime
• status request
• temperature request
• operating mode setting.

Connecting the modem is very simple: the supplied wiring is used, which is then inserted between the respective control panel and the control panel cable. A valid SIM card is also required to use the modem, which is not included in the delivery.

Using the SIMCOM modem, the auxiliary heater can work as follows:

1)      By call. When called, the heater starts when it is off or turns off when it is running. The device only responds to previously registered authorized telephone numbers.

2)      by SMS. Via SMS, various parameters such as temperature, runtime query and submission can be set. The heater confirms the command received via SMS and sends you information eg. temperature, voltage or possible faults.

 3)      via smartphone app. The "Autoterm Control" app is available free of charge for the Android and iOS operating system. A direct link to the app is available below. This allows the heater to be controlled by the smartphone. You are always informed about the status of your heater.
