Connect the power source to one of the two power inputs. The LED bar will now light up. If you place a flat object (such as a piece of cardboard) in front of the IR sensor, the LED bar will turn off. Now move the operating mode selector to the other side and walk in front of the IR sensor with a flat object. The LED bar will turn off. If you walk in front of the IR sensor with the flat object again, the LED bar will light up again.
By using the optional fittings, it is possible to connect multiple bars in series.
You can create a LED bar up to 2 meters long.
Connecting multiple bars with the appropriate connectors allows you to power all the LED bars with a single power source. However, the sensor of each LED bar will determine whether the bar should be lit or turned off.
The IR (infrared) sensor allows AlcaPower LED bars to operate in two distinct modes:
This mode allows the LED bar to light up whenever the IR sensor is not obscured by an object.
For example, if the LED bar is installed behind a cabinet door, when this is
closed, the LED bar will be off; when the door is opened, the LED bar will be lit.
To select this mode, position the mode selector to the “MODE” side.
“DOOR OPENING”.
This mode allows you to turn the AlcaPower LED bar on and off by simply temporarily darkening the sensor. This mode allows you to have a completely independent light point with the ability to turn it on and off at will. To select this mode, position the mode selector on the “SWITCH MODE” side.
