Telescopic gas spring in painted steel.

The most common applications are on vehicle doors, on protective casings, on furniture doors, on windows for attics, in supermarket sales counters.

The gas spring consists of a steel cylinder containing nitrogen and oil under pressure and a ground steel rod that slides into the cylinder itself through a sealing ring.

 

The oil acts as a lubricant for the seals and the rod.

The gas compresses and makes a thrust to the stem proportional to the weight to be moved, with a flat force curve for any stroke.

The operating temperature varies the thrust of the gas spring, affecting about 4% every 10 ° C more than the standard operating temperature of 20 ° C.
