HEOS 5251 universal connector for water tanks
The cap is suitable for all existing filler necks with bayonet lock (diameter 77 mm).
The supply includes two additional components to use the cap on the smaller filler neck such as Dethleffs, LMC, TEC built from 2010 onwards (diameter 67 mm) or for other manufacturers using the same cap, as well as for all water tanks with and without overflow.
With the included plastic flat gasket, the connector is also applicable only for water tanks with overflow.
To replace the installed ring component (67mm), push in the HEOSwater connector ® universal tank cap and twist it. Then carefully remove the component with a small flat screwdriver the ring and push the other ring inside.
The flexible sealing surface of the cap avoids any overpressure in the water tank. The slightest overpressure automatically opens the connector and the air / water exits through the filling holes.
It is noted that the connector does not stop automatically when the water tank is full.
