Electric resistance system for defrosting pipes containing frozen water.
Operating range between 5' and 60' depending on the size of the tubes.
Wrap the tape in a spiral around the drain hose with the non-wired end, starting from the tank making it fit snugly.
(Wrapping the tube is easier if the beginning of the tape is secured with tape.)
When winding, bypass any suspension eyelets present. The resulting space, which is not covered by the tape
heating, has only a minimal influence on the defrosting time. In any case, a sufficiently large piece of tape must remain
long to be able to also wrap the valve.
The heating tape is already ready for operation after connecting to the on-board 12 V power supply.
The defrosting time depends on the length and diameter of the exhaust pipe, the volume of ice present and the material of the
pipes and valves. The heating tape does not have a timer or thermostat, so use must be entirely controlled by the user.
The permitted operating time ranges from a minimum of 5' to a maximum of 60', this range is determined by the factors described above.
