Warm up
The most popular air heating systems for campers are:
DIESEL, also defined as parking. Less bulky if it uses the tank for traction and easier to refuel; lower yield. To be used for low temperatures. Webasto, Ebersparcher, Planar.
GAS. Mostly used for low maintenance costs, low noise and high efficiency. To be used for medium temperatures. Truma
ELECTRIC. With low consumption heaters.
BY WATER - OR AIR - WATER . A heater brings a mixture of water to temperature which is distributed with convector heaters placed in the passenger compartment, ensuring continuous recirculation of air from top to bottom. Very expensive, suitable for first-time installation. ALDE, Webasto Ebersparcher, Planar.
The Combi Truma heaters both gas and diesel are very practical and combine the two functions of heating the vehicle and water in a single appliance; there is also an E version equipped with integrated electrical resistors which allows all types of operation as well as hybrid mode.
