POWER SERVICE is a real travel charger, capable of recharging the service batteries in less time than the alternator alone.

It is available in 3 versions:

• BASIC - powered by alternator
• PLUS - powered by alternator and EURO6 COMPATIBLE solar panel
• GOLD - powered by alternator, solar panel and EURO6 COMPATIBLE electricity grid

Advantages: Service batteries always charged to 100% effective in half the time compared to traditional charging systems.

POWER SERVICE is the latest model of electronic battery charger for accumulators that NDS GROUP has conceived and designed for use on recreational vehicles in response to the different energy sources available to the user today.

POWER SERVICE is able to manage the recharging of any service battery using a microprocessor in a totally automatic manner, allowing for 100% effective recharging and a notable reduction in time compared to traditional charging systems.

BASIC carries out an impulse charge with a desulphating effect.

PLUS AND GOLD perform 4 specific charging curves:

• 3 curves for each type of battery (gel, Agm, or traditional flooded acid)

• 1 charging curve with voltage limited to 14.5V.

Each of the 4 charging curves is made up of 5 phases, including the important "PULSE CURRENT WITH DESULPHATING EFFECT" phase which optimizes the battery's performance, extending its life.

WHY CHOOSE POWER SERVICE: the service batteries installed on campers, caravans and boats are used for cyclical use (Deep Cycle), i.e. they are discharged and recharged cyclically.
Batteries used for reverse starting are always charged. Due to their different uses, the two types of batteries must be charged in two different ways:

THE STARTING BATTERIES are kept charged by the alternator which is NOT a battery charger but rather a generator that supplies current (AMPERE) when the vehicle needs it, thus keeping the batteries always charged.

SERVICE BATTERIES, once discharged, need a different charging parameter than the starter battery, which the alternator does not perform correctly, which is why they need a battery charger.

THE POWER SERVICE IS A BATTERY CHARGER that uses the current from the alternator, transforming it into a charging curve suitable for the service battery.
